Sperry had drifted into a perception problem: more yacht club costume than seafaring essential. The brand wanted to get back in touch with its roots—gritty, coastal, and made for people who live with salt in their hair and purpose in their step.

Sperry’s ‘Odysseys Await’ campaign sought to reconnect the brand with its adventurous heritage and position it as a leader in nautical-inspired fashion. The campaign aimed to inspire adventure and exploration by sending influencers on global journeys, capturing and sharing their stories through social media platforms. This strategy targeted a younger, travel-loving audience to boost brand awareness and appeal.

We launched “Odysseys Await” by sending cultural explorers and travel influencers on actual sea-to-land journeys. Their real adventures became episodic films showcasing Sperry’s seasonal product drops—winter boots in New England harbors, summer canvas on Caribbean docks. The visuals were unpolished on purpose. This wasn’t luxury cosplay. It was life.

The supporting campaign design pulled from maritime ink illustrations and old-world charting to reframe the brand as built for modern explorers. While much of the campaign unfolded on distant shores, we took full control of the connective tissue—styling and shooting seasonal product ourselves to create social content and interstitials that felt as grounded and intentional as the journeys they supported. Every asset helped reinforce Sperry’s return to purpose.
